You're Doin' a Heckuva Job, Browne-ie

Here are some follow-ups to Anderson Cooper's piece on Sylvia Browne. Browne's business manager or whatever debates The Amazing Randi. (Note to self: Do not hire this woman as business manager.)

And wouldn't ya' know it -- Just when I get a nice big Googlebomb campaign ready, Google decides to revamp their algorithms to do away with Googlebombing. Washington Post excerpt: Because of the changes Google made to its formula, searching for "miserable failure" on Google now pulls up a news story by the BBC about Google bombing as the first result, followed by a Wikipedia entry on the topic and another article in an industry publication. The White House page no longer appears in the top 100 results.

Well, how was I supposed to know? It's not like I'm psychic or anything.

Sylvia Browne Is a Mean Fucking Bitch...

...and so is Montel Williams. She takes advantage of people who are very very sad, and he gives her a stage. (Apologies to people whose first name is "Sylvia" and last name is "Browne" who don't claim to be psychics.)

No doubt, the parents deserve at least some criticism for agreeing to appear with her on television, but, you know, they were probably grasping at straws.

So here's what I think I'll do (and I invite everyone to join me) -- The current Google hit page for the phrase "Sylvia Browne" appears below. I think we should Googlebomb her (à la "Miserable Failure") so as to put the pertinent James Randi, Stop SB, Quackwatch, and Wikipedia criticism pages above her own 5ylv1a dot org. How? Copy all or some of the text that appears below the screenshot and paste it into your own blog or website.
